Watching The Planets - Flaming Lips w/ Karen O - Embryonic
The new Flaming Lips record Embryonic comes out in October but I can’t wait, so I’ve been listening to the leaked tracks at the Hype Machine. There’s a bunch of good songs on it, but this one with Karen O (lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) is a standout. Apparently Karen O’s parts on this song and one other were recorded over the phone from her hotel room on tour. that’s so wayne.
